The DCN24 Kit is a stereo 2-way / mono 4-way stand alone digital crossover. You can either built it in one box or in two separate boxes, it depends on your existing set of amplifiers or which one's you plan to buy. In general we recommend to place crossover and amplifiers as close as possible to the loudspeaker, which will reduce the length of the loudspeaker cables. The balanced line level signal is less influenced of long cables.
